Luxembourg, 11-13 July 2019: The Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) was invited to attend the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) annual meeting held in Luxembourg on 11 to 13 July 2019. Anita Prakash, Director of Policy Relations attended the annual meeting and its related events.

Based on the works on Asia-Europe connectivity, ERIA had earlier provided information and guidance to the AIIB team in raising the first Infrastructure Investment Forum in the annual meeting in Luxembourg. Several side events on the themes of financing, cooperation, sustainable development of infrastructure, and public private partnerships were also held during the meeting. ERIA will continue to associate and cooperate with AIIB in its work in the coming days. In particular, the new initiative of Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance will be explored for further cooperation.
