Dr. Djunaedi Hadisumarto, Advisor to the State Minister of National Development, Former Chairman of Bappenas, passed away on 23rd of December 2012.

He was the Governing Board member of ERIA. He was one of Indonesia's foremost economists who has contributed greatly for Indonesia and ERIA and regional economic development, covering not only economic issues, but also those related to politics, international relations, etc. He was also respected member of various organizations and universities and ERIA owes so much to his dedication.

His contribution to Indonesia and to the region will be long remembered. May his soul rest in peace.
