Minister of Trade Appoints Director to Represent Indonesia on ERIA Board

Jakarta, 31 January 2025: Minister Budi Santoso has appointed Dina Kurniasari, Director of World Trade Organization Negotiations, Directorate of WTO Negotiations, Directorate General of International Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Trade, as Indonesia's representative on the Governing Board of ERIA.

Ms Kurniasari has held her current position since June 2021 and has served in various key roles within the Ministry. A seasoned trade negotiator, she brings extensive experience to this role. She chaired the Senior Economic Officials’ Meetings (SEOM) during Indonesia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2023 and has also served as ASEAN Chair for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement negotiations.

She holds a Master of Public and International Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of International Law from the University of Indonesia.

The Governing Board, ERIA's decision-making body, comprises the Secretary-General of ASEAN and representatives from 16 countries. ERIA looks forward to working closely with Ms Kurniasari to further its mission of promoting deeper economic integration across the region.
