Director-General, Manufacturing Industries Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Mr. Ikuro Sugawara called on Prof. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA on December 2, 2012.They exchanged views on the progress of the ASEAN Economic Community by 2015 and future prospects and development in the region.

Prof. Nishimura gave an explanation on recent outcomes from the Summit and ERIA's flagship projects such as Comprehensive Asia Development Plan (from phase 1 to 3) and Myanmar Comprehensive Development Vision (MCDV).
