Jakarta, 21 August 2024: Ambassador Delia D. Albert paid a courtesy visit to the President of ERIA, Tetsuya Watanabe, at ERIA’s office in Jakarta on 21 August 2024. Ambassador Albert expressed her gratitude to ERIA for its strong support during the Philippines' ASEAN Chairmanship in 2017 and for its assistance in publishing the five-volume ASEAN@50 series.

Ambassador Albert shared her experiences as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines and offered insights on the significance of ASEAN and the importance of fostering a better understanding of ASEAN among younger generations. President Watanabe thanked Ambassador Albert for her visit despite her busy schedule in Jakarta and extended his appreciation to the Philippine government for its robust support of ERIA’s activities. Both parties discussed potential collaborations under the Philippines' ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026.
