Jakarta, 13 August 2024: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe received a courtesy visit from Dato’ Mohammad Faiz Azmi, Chairman of Securities Commission Malaysia, at the ERIA Office on 13 August 2024. The Chairman was accompanied by Datin Azalina Adham, Managing Director, and Khairul Ridzwan, General Manager for International Affairs.

During the visit, President Watanabe also hosted a luncheon in his office, where they discussed various topics, including green financing, climate finance, and the capital markets. Dato’ Mohammad Faiz Azmi praised ERIA’s research reputation, and both parties explored potential collaborations in connection with Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025.
