ERIA President Pays Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 21 November 2024: The Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, H.E. Dato' Zambry Abdul Kadir, welcomed the President of ERIA, Tetsuya Watanabe in Kuala Lumpur.

Following their meetings in Switzerland in September this year, they discussed potential collaborations on Malaysia's priorities for its ASEAN Chairmanship, under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). These priorities included human resource development in AI, TVET, digitisation, and energy. They also exchanged views on the education system and its developments across the region. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working closely together in the coming year.
