Singapore, 18 June 2024: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry of Singapore, H.E. Gan Kim Yong.

Both parties discussed the Asia Zero Emissions Community (AZEC) and the path forward for the region towards a net-zero future. Topics of discussion included carbon markets or pricing, the ASEAN power grid, and beyond.

ERIA and Singapore expressed a keen interest in closely collaborating to support energy transition and enhance economic integration.
