Ha Noi, 25 February 2025: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe paid a courtesy visit to Dr Tran Thi Hong Minh, President of Viet Nam’s Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), in Ha Noi on 25 February 2025.

During the meeting, President Watanabe provided updates on the upcoming ERIA Governing Board Meeting in June, outlining its agenda and key strategic priorities. Both leaders also discussed ERIA’s ongoing co-operation with the Vietnamese government, highlighting the importance of sustained partnership in policy research and economic development.

They exchanged views on the global economic landscape and its implications for Viet Nam and the broader ASEAN region. President Watanabe expressed appreciation for Dr Minh’s continued support and collaboration, reaffirming ERIA’s commitment to enhancing policy research and advisory efforts to support Viet Nam’s economic growth.
