Manila, 14 June 2024: President Tetsuya Watanabe paid a courtesy call on the Secretary of Energy, H.E. Raphael M. Lotilla, in Manila.

President Watanabe briefed Secretary Lotilla on ERIA’s recent activities and projects, including the establishment of the Asia Zero Emission Centre.

Both parties exchanged views and insights on the energy transition in the region, discussing its challenges and opportunities. Secretary Lotilla expressed gratitude to ERIA for supporting the Gas Development Policy Project phase 3. Both parties are excited to work closely together.
