ERIA President Hosts Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Delegation in Jakarta

Jakarta, 23 January 2025: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe welcomed a delegation from the Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) during their Economic Mission to Indonesia.

Mr Oshima, Vice Chairman of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), expressed gratitude to President Watanabe and ERIA for their warm hospitality. He shared his interest in gaining deeper insights into ERIA’s mission and activities.

President Watanabe provided an overview of ERIA’s key initiatives, including the E-DISC program, the Asia Zero Emission Center, and projects focused on supply chain management and healthcare.

Additionally, Dr Manami Uechi, Director of Healthcare Services, presented one of ERIA’s healthcare projects, highlighting its contributions to the ASEAN region.

The meeting facilitated a meaningful exchange of views on critical topics and underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing regional challenges.
