Jakarta, 31 March 2022:  It is with heartfelt sadness that ERIA announces the loss of H.E. Ambassador Kamsiah Kamaruddin, Malaysia’s Permanent Representative to ASEAN in Jakarta.

‘We mourn the loss of a loyal friend and a strong supporter of all our initiatives’, expressed by Prof Hidetoshi Nishimura, President of ERIA.

Ambassador Kamsiah had held various notable positions, namely Malaysia’s representative to the Governing Council of ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR), Deputy Director-General for the ASEAN-Malaysia National Secretariat, indicating her profound dedication to Malaysia and ASEAN. Her contribution to the region will forever be remembered.
