Kuala Lumpur, 20 November 2024: ERIA President Tetsuya Watanabe paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Securities Commission of Malaysia, Dato’ Faiz Abdullah, at his office in Kuala Lumpur.

Building on ERIA's participation in the ACMF meeting in Vientiane on 21 October 2024 and the visit of Chairman Dato’ Faiz Abdullah to ERIA on 13 August 2024, both parties discussed and explored concrete opportunities for collaboration on carbon credits and the carbon market. They also committed to working together to ensure the success of Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025.
