Jakarta, 5 April 2024: ERIA, in a collaboration with JETRO Jakarta, Spiral Ventures Pte. Ltd., and leading Indonesian startups CarbonEthics and Automa, successfully hosted the ‘CarbonTalks: Decarbonisation with Indonesian Startup’ networking event. The session, held at ERIA’s Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Centre (E-DISC), spotlighted innovative solutions to climate change, drawing over 150 participants globally, both in-person and online.

The event underscored the vital role of natural climate solutions and advanced carbon footprint tracking technology in addressing climate change, highlighting the cutting-edge contributions of CarbonEthics and Automa. CarbonEthics is at the forefront of restoring climate balance through blue carbon conservation, integrating decarbonization with corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and local community engagement. Meanwhile, Automa is transforming the carbon footprint tracking landscape with its SaaS subscription model and IpaaS API call transaction fees for carbon calculation and verification, facilitating accurate carbon emissions tracking and management for companies.

ERIA, through its initiatives at E-DISC, is committed to contributing to the ASEAN startup ecosystem. To achieve this, E-DISC actively collaborates with regional key players such as venture capitals, government agencies, and other influential organisations to continuously provide such opportunities.
