Cikeas, 28 June 2024: The ERIA School of Government was honoured and privileged to facilitate a Leaders Dialogue between the Thailand Parliament and the 6th President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), at President Yudhoyono's residence in Cikeas. The dialogue aimed to foster a deeper understanding of regional issues, governance, and leadership.

The delegation from the Thailand Parliament was headed by Parit Wacharasindhu, who led discussions on various critical topics. The dialogue provided a platform for high-level exchanges between both parties, focusing on the challenges and opportunities within the ASEAN region.

The discussions revolved around regional issues, governance, and leadership, allowing both sides to share their experiences and insights. This exchange was not only beneficial for enhancing bilateral relations but also for gaining new perspectives on addressing common challenges.

These top-level dialogues are instrumental in fostering future leadership and mutual understanding amongst ASEAN Member States. We hope this event will have a lasting positive impact in the coming decade. ERIA's initiative in hosting this dialogue underscores its commitment to promoting leadership and governance excellence within the region.
