ERIA Experts Meet with Canada's Ambassador to the OECD

Jakarta, 31 October 2023: Canadian Ambassador to the OECD, Madeleine Chenette, held a meeting with representatives from the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), including Dr Aladdin Rillo, Senior Economic Advisor, and Dr Intan Murnira Ramli, Senior Policy Fellow. The meeting revolved around exploring potential collaboration between ERIA and Canada in the field of economic studies with a focus on digital knowledge and women's empowerment.

Ambassador Chenette was joined by Ambassador Vicky Singmin, Ambassador of Canada to ASEAN, as well as Marie-Claude Mallet, Counsellor at the Mission of Canada to ASEAN, and Louis-Thomas Laurin, Trade Commissioner focusing on Digital Industries in ASEAN. The fruitful meeting showcased the potential for future collaboration between Canada and ERIA, emphasizing the importance of leveraging digital advancements for the betterment of society and gender equality.
