Diplomatic and economic experts are calling on countries in the region to step up the screening of migrant workers in the future to prevent the transmission of diseases like Covid-19.Former foreign minister Kasit Piromya on Friday said the government must now increase migrant screening measures after calls for the establishment of a Covid-19 response fund for Asean during a meeting with bloc members last week.
