The 34th ASEAN Summit held in Thailand in June adopted the Bangkok Declaration on Combating Marine Debris in ASEAN Region and the ASEAN Framework of Action on Marine Debris. This follows previous commitments made by the group’s leaders to promote sustainable consumption and production to reduce marine plastic.  (Read the full article by using the link above).
