The 2nd Research Institute Network (RIN) Meeting for the fiscal year 2010 was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 8January 2011 under the chairmanship of Dr. Hank Giok-Hay LIM. Dr. Mitsuhiro Kagami, President, BRC-JETRO moderated the meeting.

During the meeting, Dr. Hank Lim stressed the role of 16 countries network (RIN) in disseminating the results of ERIA's research works in the region. The network members exchanged views on matters related to ERIA's role in the upcoming events in the region.

Prof. Fukunari Kimura, Chief Economist, ERIA, presented the status of research project in FY2010-2011. Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director, ERIA, highlighted the cooperation among each country towards ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in the year 2015 and ERIA's research works as giving a example of China's success in his closing remarks.
