Sayo Hosoi joined ERIA in April 2024 as an Assistant Programme Manager for Energy in the Asia Zero Emission Centre. She holds a master of arts degree and has experience working at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). At METI, she assisted with energy security policy negotiations at the multilateral level and played a key role in organising international conferences and initiatives focused on LNG and methane reduction.
