Kei Sudo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Bioscience, School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University, Japan, in 2015 and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Waseda University, Japan, in 2017. After graduation, he started working for TEPCO Power Grid, Inc. (TEPCO PG), the biggest electric utility in Japan and engaged in maintenance and design of transmission lines. He has been seconded to Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) from TEPCO Power Grid, Inc. (TEPCO PG) since 2022. Using his expertise, he has been conducting research on the power sector in ASEAN.
