Denisa Athallia joined ERIA in July 2024 as a Research Associate in the Economics Unit. She is currently involved in research projects focused on public and development economics, exploring topics such as green policies and infrastructure financing in ASEAN and East Asia.
Prior to joining ERIA, she was a Research Associate to the Chief Economist of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN), where she contributed to economic strategy and development planning for Indonesia’s new capital city. She also has previous research experience in finance, having contributed to fixed-income and macroeconomic research at an asset management firm.

Education
Denisa graduated from Universitas Indonesia with a Bachelor of Economics in 2023. She also participated in an undergraduate exchange program at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), Tilburg University, Netherlands.
