Yessi Vadila is an economist specializing in international trade, economic development, and Indonesian trade policy. At ERIA, she serves as a trade specialist, conducting analyses on trade and investment in Indonesia, engaging in academic research, and contributing to policy-oriented projects on trade and investment in Indonesia and ASEAN. Previously, she held the position of Deputy Director for Export of mining products. She earned her PhD from the Arndt Corden Department of Economics at the Australian National University, focusing on the impact of trade liberalization on socio-economic, environmental, and health outcomes in Indonesia.
