Kentaro Noma currently serves as the Programme Manager on Energy at ERIA since April 2024. He holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, both from The University of Tokyo.
Before joining ERIA, Kentaro was a Research Analyst at JERA Co., Inc., from April 2019 to March 2024. In this role, he worked in the Economic Analysis Unit of the Research Group, where he conducted in-depth analysis of the domestic thermal power generation landscape, explored trends in energy policies, and investigated global environmental initiatives. Kentaro began his career at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., where he served as a Plant Operator and Maintenance Engineer from April 2016 to March 2019. In this role, he operated power generation facilities, conducted patrol inspections, and managed maintenance projects.
