Fitri Astari recently joined ERIA in April 2024 as a Research Associate in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). She holds a Master's degree in International Studies in Intellectual Property Law from Technische Universität Dresden and conducted her exchange semester in the Intellectual Property Law program at Jagiellonian University, Poland.

Before joining ERIA, she worked as an associate in IP law firms, primarily handling IPR matters such as copyright infringement, trademark litigation and filings, and general corporate matters. Astari also regularly contributed to an international IPR newspaper to educate both local and foreign audiences about Indonesian IP Law.
