The Second ASEAN Blue Economy Forum

We are pleased to announce the Second ASEAN Blue Economy Forum, which will be held in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The forum's theme, 'Blue Economy for a Sustainable Growth of ASEAN: Innovation and Collaboration,' underscores our commitment to ensuring that the benefits of the Blue Economy are shared across all ASEAN Member States. The forum will bring together policymakers, academia, and practitioners from ASEAN and beyond to exchange best practices, provide updates on blue economy initiatives, and explore economic opportunities that strengthen the role of the blue economy in our region.

The forum is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Lao PDR, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Development Planning of Indonesia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, the ASEAN Secretariat, and ERIA.
