The ASEAN Conference for Combatting Plastic Pollution (ACCPP) 2023: Enhanced Synergies and Collaborative Actions to Combatting Plastic Pollution Including the Marine Environment is a regional initiative to address one of the most pressing environmental issues in Southeast Asia: plastic pollution.
ERIA, through its Regional Knowledge Centre for Marine Debris, is honoured to collaborate with the Indonesia National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP), Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, and Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry in hosting this instrumental initiative to foster cooperation and coordination amongst the ASEAN Member States, as well as with relevant national, regional, and international organizations.
More than 50 speakers and delegates from the ASEAN Member States and the International Community and over 300 participants from Policymakers of ASEAN, Private Sector, ASEAN Business Association, Civil Society Organization, Academia, and Research Institution will gather at ACCPP 2023 tomorrow, 17 October 2023 at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.
