ERIA-CLM Capacity Building Workshop was held at ERIA Annex Office on February 22, 2010. Around 17 participants from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and Japan attended this workshop.

CLM Capacity Building Project was initiated under EAMS (East Asia Expert Meeting on Manufacturing Statistics) and subsequently undertaken as ERIA project. The objectives of this project is to provide technical assistance and guidance to the national statistical staffs in the development of their respective National Standard Industrial Classification. (Manufacturing Sector)

In the Workshop, CLM member countries shared with their difficulties and solutions including discussion with the related Ministries. Guest speakers and experts presented their experiences and international standard respectively.
Sharing each experience and lectures would be useful for member countries to finalize each classification.
