ERIA and IEEJ conduct the 1st Meeting of the ERIA Research Working Group

ERIA and the Institute of Energy Economic, Japan (IEEJ) conducted the 1st Meeting of the ERIA Research Working Group for "Study on Development of Energy Security Index and Assessment of Energy Security Policy for East Asia Countries" on October 14, 2011 at ERIA Annex Office, Jakarta.

It was attended by the IEEJ research team, the ERIA researchers and also participants from several research institutes in ASEAN and 6 additional countries.

The workshop aims to develop an energy security index which will allow policy planners in the region to have more accurate understanding of the energy security situation, to make assessments of energy security policy impacts in East Asian countries and to draw policy recommendations for energy policy planners.
