The 3rd ERIA Academic Advisory Council (AAC) Meeting was held on 25 April 2011 at ERIA Annex Office. The AAC is expected to play an essential role in the quality control of research progress, deliveration of research proposals, and assessment of overall research activities of ERIA.
6 AAC members and official and researchers from ERIA attended the meeting. It was chaired by Dr. Hank Lim Giok Hay, Senior Research Fellow of Singapore Institute of International Affairs SIIA).
Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura, Executive Director of ERIA, delivered opening remarks. Prof. Fukunari Kimura, Chief Economist of ERIA, gave an explanation on ERIA's research activities in FY2010-11.
The AAC members provide valuable comments to ERIA's research including activities in FY2010 and proposals in FY2011.
